Ministry of Justice holds forum on ‘blockchain + rule of law’ in Nanjing

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the whole judicial administrative system must seize the opportunity to actively propel the full integration of blockchain technology with the rule of law, according to a forum held by the MOJ on "blockchain + rule of law" in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 16.

Ma Xiaofeng, president of the Suzhou Tongji Blockchain Research Institute, explained the advantages of blockchain technology and its application at the forum.

It was emphasized at the forum that the advancement of "blockchain + rule of law" must be combined with improved levels of public satisfaction, promotion of social fairness and justice and enhancement of the judicial system's public credibility.

The ministry must develop overall planning and a system of standards, enhance its capability in managing and applying the technology, and constantly raise people's senses of gain, happiness and security in the process of building the rule of law.
