Minister of Justice emphasizes legal guarantees for building demonstration pilot zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics in Shenzhen

Fu Zhenghua, Deputy Director of the Office of the Commission for Overall Law-based Governance of the CPC Central Committee and the Minister of Justice, took an inspection tour in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, from Dec 20 to 22.

The tour was aimed at examining the work of providing legal guarantees for building a demonstration pilot zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics in Shenzhen.

During the tour, Fu visited a variety of entities, including the China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Center, Qianhai Court and the public legal service center in Bao'an district, and communicated with lawyers, entrepreneurs and representatives from grassroots units. He also held a symposium on the subject to solicit proposals from people of all walks of life.

Fu called for deep understanding of the significance of the demonstration pilot zone, making new contributions to the improvement of the business environment, the protection of intellectual property, the promotion of grassroots social governance and the enhancement of public legal services, and enhancing the positive effect of Shenzhen as an example of law-based governance.
