Zhao said Hong Kong's legal professionals need to uphold the rule of law and promote its role in the economic and social development of Hong Kong.

He hoped the delegation would learn more about the development of the rule of law in the Chinese mainland during the visit.

Legal workers of both Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland should safeguard the rule of law and work together to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, Zhao noted.
