China's annual legal profession qualification exam outline to be published

BEIJING -- The outline of China's unified qualification exam for legal professionals in 2020 will be published soon, the Ministry of Justice said on June 28.

This year's exam will include the latest achievements in the Party's theoretical innovation, institution-related legal amendments, and practice of the rule of law, according to the ministry.

The outline has placed more emphasis on candidates' knowledge of Chinese socialist rule of law theory, the Constitution and the Civil Code.

The proportion of case-based questions has also been increased, the ministry said.
