Hainan opens first one-stop legal service supermarket

The South China island province of Hainan recently opened its first one-stop legal service supermarket in Sanya. 

With the settling of 24 legal institutions and authorities ranging from law firms to judiciary organs, the supermarket is capable of providing the public with easy access to various services including legal consultation, litigation support, mediation, notarial services, arbitration and judicial authentication. 

The launch of the supermarket is the latest step in Hainan’s efforts to build a province-wide public legal service system which is aimed at underpinning a law-based international business environment across the island.
