Chinese Judicial administrative authorities have taken concrete steps to address people's urgent concerns during the run-up to the country's traditional Dragon Boat Festival on June 14.

At a recent press conference, Shanghai's judicial department announced 18 key programs that aim to provide residents with benefits and convenience through the rule of law and streamlined services.

The judicial department of Tianjin launched a citywide legal aid campaign, with legal aid workers providing door-to-door legal services for people with difficulties in moving and shortening the legal aid application process for disadvantaged groups.

Judicial administrative authorities in Jiangsu province also launched a targeted campaign to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families for professional legal services.

Meanwhile, they organized legal professionals to spread legal knowledge on the Civil Code, the regulation on legal aid and the law on the protection of disabled people in both urban and rural communities.

Judicial administrative authorities in Shandong province and Ningxia Hui autonomous region also focused on people's pressing concerns and took practical measures to enhance people's sense of gain, happiness and security.
