Ministry of Justice releases guiding cases on legal aid

(en.moj.gov.cn)| Updated: 2021-07-23

The Ministry of Justice has issued five guiding cases on legal aid, with the purpose of showing the outcomes of China's legal aid work and sharing replicable experiences with judicial administrative authorities across the country.

The cases focus on topics closely related to people's lives and work such as remuneration payment, compensation for work-related injuries and protection of minors' rights and interests. They exemplify the crucial role of legal aid in coordinating the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic and social development, and the improvement of people's livelihoods.

As a result of the persistent efforts of judicial administrative authorities at all levels in recent years, China is now able to provide convenient, efficient, inclusive and equal legal aid service for people in both urban and rural areas.

All cases can be found in the case database of China's official legal service website – 12348.gov.cn.
