The judicial department of Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning province recently launched an information command center in the hope of mediating disputes for the public more efficiently.

The first of its kind in the province, the center connects to mediation groups at city, county, township and village levels, as well as to Dalian's 159 public legal service centers and stations, 149 judicial stations, and 10 one-stop dispute resolution platforms.

Backed by 500 full-time and over 9,000 part-time mediators, the center is able to match every mediation application with a suitable mediation organization based on the type of dispute.

It has also set up data analysis models for 18 areas including community correction, legal aid and notarization services.
