Inner Mongolia involves experts in legislative process

The judicial department of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region held a ceremony on Dec 15 to appoint 74 legislative experts for the regional government.

The experts will be engaged in the government's legislative process to make sure that the process is scientific, democratic and law-based. 

According to Bai Yongping, head of the department, argumentation by the experts will become an essential component of any legislative project. 

To make legislation more targeted and practical, field surveys at the grassroots level will be arranged for the experts during the legislation process, according to Bai.
