Legally savvy talents contribute to grassroots governance in Jiangsu

Over 210,000 legally savvy talents in East China's Jiangsu province have played an active role in further improving the province's grassroots governance.

The talents have worked on the frontlines of legal popularization, publicity and practices by participating in such activities as mediating disputes, publicizing laws and regulations, guiding legal aid cases and collecting public opinions.

Since 2021, the legal savvy talents across the province have carried out over 52,000 legal publicity activities, collected over 24,000 public opinions on legislation, and given over 2,100 pieces of advice concerning legislation through such methods as legal consultations, lectures and case interpretations. They have also given guidance over 150,000 legal service cases, assisted in resolving over 320,000 disputes. 

Over 45 million people were benefiting from such activities and services, helping to further improve the province's grassroots governance and enhancing the people's sense of gain, happiness and security under the rule of law.
