Qinghai establishes full-coverage public legal service system

Northwest China's Qinghai province has basically established a full-coverage public legal service system, with 5,124 entity platforms having been set up at provincial, municipal, county, township, and village levels, according to its justice department.

Since 2021, the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period, local legal service entities, internet platforms and public hotlines in Qinghai have provided over 346,000 legal consultations and handled over 19,000 legal aid cases. Lawyers in the province have handled over 111,000 cases of various types, while legal service institutions of all types have handled over 76,000 notarization matters, 25,000 judicial appraisal cases, 79,000 cases of people's mediation, and more than 850 arbitration cases.

The province has also established 154 theme parks and corridors dedicated to the promotion of the rule of law, 26 youth rule-of-law education bases, and 17 provincial-level youth rule-of-law education practice bases, forming a preliminary network promoting legal culture in both urban and rural areas.
