Hebei establishes lawyer service team for private economy

The Hebei Provincial Department of Justice, in collaboration with the Hebei Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Hebei Lawyers Association, has recently established a special lawyer service team for the private economy. This initiative aims to fully leverage the functional role of lawyers in serving high-quality development and promoting the construction of a law-based business environment.

The inaugural meeting of the lawyer team was held recently, emphasizing importance of upholding the Party's leadership in all aspects and throughout the entire process of serving the private enterprises. The meeting called for assisting private enterprises in preventing legal risks, enhancing the rule of law in their production, operation, and management to safeguard their healthy growth, bolster the benign development of industries, and enhance industrial quality and efficiency.

The team comprises about 30 members, with the president of the Hebei Lawyers Association serving as the team leader. Members of the lawyer team are selected jointly by the provincial justice department, the federation of industry and commerce and the lawyers association from outstanding lawyers with over five years of law practice experience, strong professional capabilities, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

The lawyer team primarily engages in public interest legal services for private enterprises, such as legal education and providing legal advice through the hotline or the online platform established by the Hebei Federation of Industry and Commerce, according to the implementation plan for establishing a lawyer service team for private economy in Hebei.

The plan also specified the need for close collaboration among local federations of industry and commerce, judicial administrative organs and lawyers associations at all levels within the province to further solidify and enhance legal services for the private economy.
