Sichuan enhances communication on poverty alleviation

Through arrangements made by the judicial department of Southwest China's Sichuan province, a delegation from Tongxiao town recently visited such places as Chengdu and Deyang to learn from local experiences in Party building, cultivation of rule of law, industrial development and rural revitalization.

The delegation, consisting of 16 village-level Party cadres and rural role models in achieving a well-to-do life, had their faith in the Party's leadership over the poverty alleviation work strengthened after visiting a number of Party building-themed facilities during their trip.

They also visited three villages which have successfully eliminated poverty by developing distinctive industries, fully utilizing tourism resources and exploiting traditional arts.

The department also organized a lecture on China's first Civil Code for the delegation to enhance their legal awareness.

The trip greatly enhanced the delegation's confidence in winning the battle against poverty in their hometown.
