By promoting the integrated development of its physical, hotline-based and online service platforms in recent years, Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region has established a complete legal service network for the public.

Ningxia's smart legal service coordination and management platform is now in charge of 28 legal aid centers, 21 public notary offices, 194 law firms, 26 primary-level legal service stations, 33 judicial authentication institutions and 3,868 people's mediation organizations across the region.

Its physical legal service network is now comprised of one provincial-level service center, 27 service centers at city and county levels, 243 township-level service stations and 2,809 service offices in villages and communities.

Moreover, the region has extended the coverage of its public legal services by deploying 234 self-service terminals and 1,902 video phones. It has also employed internet technology to establish four self-service law firms.

As for primary-level legal services, Ningxia has equipped each of its 2,809 villages and communities with a lawyer.

Since the beginning of this year, Ningxia’s physical public legal service platforms at all levels have received over 80,000 visits from the public. Its self-service terminals have been visited nearly 4,000 times.

During the same period, people in Ningxia used the video phones to seek legal advice over 1,300 times, the legal service hotline nearly 39,000 times, and the official legal service website more than 500 times.
