The judicial administration system of the southwestern province of Yunnan has made comprehensive efforts to bring tangible benefits to the public.

Prefectural-level judicial administrative departments across Yunnan have made full use of various platforms including dedicated websites, hotlines and terminals to greatly improve the accessibility of their public legal services.

To make their service more convenient, the province's judicial authentication industry has fully implemented the commitment and notification system that saves the public from offering numbers of certifications, and provided door-to-door services.

Yunnan's notary industry also took a series of steps, such as implementing the one-visit-at-most reform, launching a service hotline, opening a green channel for people in difficulties, and giving one-off notifications on 46 notarization items, to further streamline their services.

Lawyers across the province reached out to communities and private enterprises, providing them with pro bono legal services.

Meanwhile, Yunnan's judicial administration launched a province-wide Civil Code publicity campaign in which they spread the knowledge about the code in multiple ethnic languages.

In another campaign to promote rule of law at the primary level, the province drew on internet and artificial intelligence to build a one-stop legal service platform that gives urban and rural residents equal access to both online and offline services.
