Dalian establishes municipal-level mediation association

The coastal city of Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning province has set up a municipal-level mediation association, which is the first in the province to incorporate people's, administrative, industry-specific and commercial mediation.

Currently, the city has 1,871 mediation organizations which have a total of 9,495 full- and part-time mediators. They mediate 23,000 disputes on average every year with a success rate of over 98 percent.
