The team is made up of 23 lawyers who specialize in arbitration and settlement of sports-related disputes, and have good proficiency in English. They are expected to provide athletes from around the world who will compete at the upcoming Olympics with a variety of services, including initiating or responding to legal actions on behalf of the athletes at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The CAS recently announced the composition of an ad hoc arbitration tribunal for Beijing 2022, which includes three arbitrators from the BAC.
