Legally savvy talents play an active role in Jiangsu's grassroots governance

East China's Jiangsu province has selected 129,000 legally savvy talents to facilitate the upgrade of the province's primary-level governance.

To date, these talents have participated in collection of public opinions on legislation of 24,000 times in total, 52,000 legal publicity activities and guiding legal services of 150,000 times. They also help to resolve 230,000 conflicts and disputes.

In 2022, the province's judicial department will step up efforts to further the cultivation of legally savvy talents with a focus on issues closely related to the people's livelihood.

By adhering to the principle of strengthening quality and ensuring steady increase in quantity, the department will stick to the quality and effect of the work, and promote the cultivation in an orderly organized way.
