China's Minister of Justice He Rong meets with World Intellectual Property Organization Director General Daren Tang in Beijing on March 27.
During the meeting, He Rong outlined China's achievements in advancing the rule of law under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, and the efforts made by China's Ministry of Justice (MOJ) to strengthen legal protection for intellectual property rights (IPR).
She expressed the willingness to enhance communication and exchanges with WIPO, and deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas such as improving the legal and regulatory framework for IPR protection, refining mechanisms for resolving foreign-related IPR disputes, and cultivating professional talents, so as to provide legal support for promoting international IPR cooperation and promoting a more equitable and reasonable global IPR governance system.
Tang lauded China's progress in the rule of law and IPR protection, and expressed gratitude for the support provided by China's MOJ to the WIPO. He said he looked forward to exploring broader and deeper cooperation.
