China's Minister of Justice He Rong met with a delegation led by Edwin Tong, Singapore's minister for law and second minister for home affairs, in Beijing on July 1.

The two sides held practical and in-depth discussions on expanding and deepening cooperation in legal services, improving mechanisms for the diversified resolution of cross-border commercial disputes, and implementing the memorandum of understanding on the cultivation of legal professionals. They reached a consensus on further improving the mechanism for bilateral institutionalized legal exchanges and cooperation.

Singapore's Ambassador to China Peter Tan also attended the meeting.
