Minister of Justice He Rong conducted a survey in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region from July 17 to 19, focusing on penalty execution, dispute resolution and law-based governance at the grassroots level.
During the visit, He Rong visited prisons, judicial offices, and public legal service centers in the cities of Hohhot and Baotou, and greeted frontline judicial administrative officers and personnel from local legal service institutions.
The minister emphasized the importance of thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, and coordinating efforts in advancing prison education and rehabilitation, community correction, resettlement and assistance for released inmates, dispute resolution, and legal publicity based on the local conditions of border areas with large ethnic minority populations.
Furthermore, she underscored the need to steadily advance the special campaign to regulate enterprise-related administrative law enforcement, and fully leverage the role of judicial offices in serving the people, safeguarding security and stability, and bolstering law-based governance at the grassroots level.
She also urged efforts to promote the standardized construction of comprehensive governance centers, so as to provide robust legal services for ensuring security and stability and promoting high-quality economic and social development in the region.
Leading officials from relevant government departments of Inner Mongolia and Baotou also participated in the survey.
