Ministry of Justice holds training session for legislative affairs officers

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) recently held a training session for legislative affairs officers from judicial administration system in Ganzhou, East China's Jiangxi province, aiming to enhance both their political integrity and professional competence.

The training session invited renowned experts with profound theoretical grounding and practical experience to deliver lectures on key topics, including ‌government legislative priorities, record review and filing, post-legislative evaluation, and legislative technical standards.

The trainees also engaged in group discussions on legislative case studies to facilitate experience sharing, and took part in on-site visits to study the spirit of the CPC-led Central Soviet Area and the Long March‌ and‌ immerse themselves in the Red Culture of the rule of law‌.

Participants lauded the training for its high-level political stance, practical relevance, and innovative teaching methods. They pledged to apply what they have learnt to the advancement of practical legislative work, and contribute to the improvement of the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics, with the Constitution at its core‌.

Vice-Minister of Justice Li Mingzheng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a lecture. Li Kejian, deputy secretary of the CPC Ganzhou Municipal Committee and mayor of Ganzhou, gave a speech.

A total of 148 participants attended the training, including legislative affairs officers from provincial-level justice authorities, the Justice Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, justice bureaus of some prefecture-level cities, as well as representatives from the MOJ's legislative liaison points.
