Ministry of Justice holds symposium to strengthen building of judicial administrative teams

From Sept 5 to 6, the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) held a symposium in Yan'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, focusing on strengthen the building of judicial administrative teams. The symposium called for advancing the building of judicial administrative teams through pragmatic measures, so as to provide robust organizational guarantees and talent support for advancing overall law-based governance and high-quality development of judicial administrative work. Huang Yi, director of the MOJ's Political Department, addressed the symposium.

The symposium underscored that the Leading Party Members Group of the MOJ attaches great importance on the development of judicial administrative teams, with sustained efforts to strengthen political development, enhance professional capacity, improve work conduct, and ensure effective task implementation. These efforts have achieved steady progress and notable results across the judicial administrative system.

The symposium stressed the need to proactively adapt to new requirements arising from evolving circumstances and tasks, enhance overall planning, innovate working methods, and build strong judicial administrative teams to better fulfill their responsibilities and missions on the new journey in the new era.

It emphasized the importance of prioritizing political development, comprehensively enhance the capability to perform duties in accordance with the law, implementing targeted measures to strengthen grassroots foundations.

In addition, the symposium called for refining practical measures to care for and support judicial administrative staff, and comprehensively advancing strict governance over the Party and judicial administrative staff, thereby forging a loyal, self-discipline, and responsible judicial administrative force.

Heads of the political departments and relevant divisions under provincial-level justice departments and prison administration bureaus, those from the Justice Bureau and the Bureau of Prison Administration of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as leading officials from relevant departments and affiliated units under the MOJ, attended the symposium.
