Vice minister of justice meets with European commissioner for democracy, justice, rule of law and consumer protection

China's Vice Minister of Justice Li Mingzheng met with a delegation led by Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, in Beijing on November 3.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening exchanges between China's Ministry of Justice and the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation and the European Public Prosecutor's Office, as well as on deepening cooperation in judicial assistance in criminal, civil and commercial matters. They also exchanged views on topics such as China-EU consumer product safety and e-commerce cooperation.
