Minister of justice meets with DRC counterpart

China's Minister of Justice He Rong met with a delegation led by Guillaume Ngefa, state minister and minister of justice and keeper of the seals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), in Beijing on April 24.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on enhancing exchanges and mutual learning in the legal and judicial fields, and on advancing  practical cooperation in areas such as legal services, judicial assistance, the transfer and management of sentenced persons, the application of digital technologies and personnel training.

During the meeting, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of China and the Ministry of Justice of the DRC.

China's Vice Minister of Justice Wu Zeng and Ambassador of the DRC to China Francois Nkuna Balumuene also attended the meeting.
