Minister of justice meets with Russian prosecutor general

China's Minister of Justice He Rong met with a delegation led by Russia's Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan in Beijing on May 27.

The two sides reached consensus on further deepening exchanges and mutual learning in the legal and judicial fields, and enhancing pragmatic cooperation in judicial assistance, application of artificial intelligence, cultivation of legal talents and professional training.

They also signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of China and the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.

The meeting was attended by Shi Weizhong, deputy prosecutor general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, China's Vice Minister of Justice Wu Yanjun, Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov, and Russian Deputy Prosecutor General Petr Gorodov.
